Kelsy Gossett
Kelsy Gosset exhibits Relations, an installation combining video work and a multitude of pale pink balloons. Gossett’s work acts as a broad critique of the depiction of women in popular culture while also relaying Gossett’s own experiences navigating a transitional time in a relationship. Gossett is focused on honesty and averse to things being sugar coated, using her own experiences to explore issues of codependency within romantic partnerships.
Gossett received an MFA in Studio Art/Photo Media and a BA in Studio Art from Wichita State University, where she is currently an Adjunct Instructor (Wichita, KS). She has exhibited work at Anne Kittrell Art Gallery (University of Arkansas), Diver Studio (Wichita, KS) Hallie Brown Fine Arts Center (Ada, OK), and the Wilson K. Cadman Art Gallery (Wichita, KS), among others. Gossett currently lives and works in Wichita, Kansas.
