Blake Turner
Turner’s recent work is constituted by archives. He extracts from personal and collective archives. He is striving to take control of the archives, searching for questions concerning how social, economic, and political forces influence culture. In doing so, Turner strives to take control of memory, by reserving ownership of which narratives from the past are being told and which narratives will be told in the future.
Blake Turner earned his BFA in New Media from George Mason University in 2013 and his MFA in Art and Technology from The Ohio State University in 2016.
