ROY asks
What is your name and what pronouns do you use?
Will Wilson (he/him)
How has art (whether it be your own or art in general) changed you?
Art allows me to express those things I cannot express with words. It also allows an outflow for all of the input of images, ideas, and information I receive from the world.
How did you start your artistic practice?
I started drawing as a child. I kept drawing, mostly pictures of friends and teachers to make people laugh. I still like it when I get a laugh or a smile.
When a first-time viewer sees your work, what is the first word that you hope they think of when looking at it?
fun.

Daniel Rona - he/him
How has art (whether it be your own or art in general) changed you?
Art is my outlet, a place to play and explore ideas. It’s all I ever think about and doing it makes me an infinitely happier person.
How did you start your artistic practice?
As a kid l always had a sketchbook close to my hip where I practiced all sorts of things. I was particularly interested in graffiti, hyper-focusing on the stylistic element that graffiti writers master, the individualism. Picking up painting in highschool opened me up to a whole new world to explore and I’ve been hooked ever since.
When a first-time viewer sees your work, what is the first word that you hope they think of when looking at it?
More.

Dillon Beck - he/him
How has art (whether it be your own or art in general) changed you?
Art has always made me a happier person, whether my own or someone else’s. Who wants to live in a world without self expression? Sounds boring.
How did you start your artistic practice?
I was a graphic designer for almost a decade before I started painting, so I had a very long and gradual shift into my current artistic practice. I often times still treat art like design, it’s just that I give myself the creative briefing and get to follow my own “brand standards” now :)
When a first-time viewer sees your work, what is the first word that you hope they think of when looking at it?
“Woah.”
